I’m a wedding photographer based in Melbourne, originally from New Zealand. I travel between NZ and Australia to capture beautiful weddings and engagements.
Before I started photographing weddings, I spent years as a landscape photographer. These days, I have the privilege of photographing people on one of the most joyful and meaningful days of their lives. The focus of my work is to preserve the real moments and emotions from your wedding, so you can look back on them for years to come.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, especially when I get to see epic sunrises and clear starry nights. My wife and I both enjoy classical music, in fact, our first date was playing Beethoven duets together!

What is your process?
I aim to keep things simple and stress-free. We’ll start with a chat to get to know each other and talk through your plans and vision for the day. Once you’ve chosen your package, I’ll send through a contract, and a 50% deposit is required to secure your date. During the planning stage, we’ll chat about timelines and details to make sure everything flows smoothly. On your wedding day, I’ll be there ready to capture all the moments, while keeping things natural and relaxed. Afterward, I carefully edit each image to bring out the best in your photos. You’ll receive highlights within 48 hours, and your full gallery within 4 weeks.
How would you describe your style?
I combine a candid, documentary style with gently guided portraits. I love working with natural light and capturing moments of genuine emotion. My goal is to create a gallery that's vibrant, timeless, and full of memories you'll want to come back to for many years to come.
Do you travel?
Absolutely! I photograph weddings across New Zealand and Australia, and I’m always happy to travel further afield. Travel within the Auckland region and up to 150km from Melbourne is included in your package. For weddings further away, we can work out the details. If you are getting married in Queenstown, Italy, Bali, or anywhere else on my bucket list, I will shoot your wedding for only the cost of my travel!
What if we are camera shy or don’t know how to pose?
You’re not alone – most couples feel this way! I’ll guide you with gentle prompts and simple directions that feel comfortable. Just focus on enjoying your day together while I capture the special moments as they happen. I also offer a pre-wedding Engagement Shoot as an optional add-on, which can help couples feel more comfortable in front of the camera.
Do you offer second shooters?
Yes, I do! Having a second photographer can be a great way to capture more angles, details, and candid moments, especially for larger weddings or when you want both sides of the getting-ready stories covered.
How long after the wedding will I get my photos?
You’ll receive a sneak peak of 10-30 highlights within 48 hours, and your full gallery will be delivered within 4 weeks. During peak wedding season, delivery of the full gallery can sometimes take up to 8 weeks. I take care to edit each photo thoughtfully, so the end result is worth the wait!
