I’m John, a wedding photographer based in Melbourne and Auckland, capturing weddings and elopements wherever they take me!
I originally fell in love with photography through landscapes. I enjoy climbing hills, experimenting with light, and discovering wild, beautiful places. My love of nature still shapes how I approach weddings today. I’m always aware of the space around you, how the day feels, and how everything, from the wider landscape to the small details, becomes part of your story.
My approach is quiet and considered. I’ll be there in the background, capturing the big moments as they unfold, and also noticing the small interactions and the things you don’t even realise are happening. When it comes to portraits, I’ll guide you gently when you need it, with just enough direction to help you feel comfortable, so you can relax and be yourselves.
